Art of GS | Masao Kozumi
Masao Kozumi’s deep navy blue glassworks, inspired by traditional Japanese symbols of longevity and victory, echo the spirit of Grand Seiko.

Mount Iwate is the imposing peak that can be seen from the Grand Seiko Studio, home to Grand Seiko’s mechanical watchmaking. In the dead of winter, one might encounter an icefall, a natural phenomenon in which water flowing downward gradually solidifies when the temperature drops below freezing.

The SBGH347 dial represents this mysterious scenery through its dynamic but also delicate pressed pattern and its unique icy-blue color. The 37mm case and bracelet are made from Ever-Brilliant Steel, boasting superior corrosion resistance and great comfort on the wrist. With a light impression thanks to its moderate size and toughness that comes from a special steel alloy, this is a watch that one will want to wear often in the year ahead.
