Beauty is in the details
Even with a marvelous design,
true beauty cannot be achieved if the details are neglected.
Refinement comes through many layers of beautiful details.
Let’s explore the essence of Grand Seiko’s beauty.
A new color variation joins the modern re-interpretation of the 44GS, taking inspiration from the kiri (paulownia) – the official flower of Iwate Prefecture, home of the Grand Seiko Studio Shizukuishi. Known for a sweet fragrance that fills mountain villages during the season of fresh greenery, the kiri is affectionately recognized as the “purple kiri of the south.” The 44GS case is finished with the Zaratsu polishing technique, causing it to reflect ambient light without distortion. This creation features a dial that combines a soft purple tone with the Mt. Iwate dial pattern and is a versatile piece for any occasion.
